In 1878, Alexander Graham Bell had invented the Telephone. During 1980, Motorola was the first company to launch cell phones for common people but it was heavily weighted and was quite difficult to carry everywhere.

In 1993, the first Smartphone was launched by IBM and BellSouth. Those phones could make the phone calls, video recordings and it had been developed day by day to make this capable for everyone.



The smartphone is a mobile handset with lots of advanced features and it’s just like a mini computer which stays in your pocket and goes everywhere with you. Naturally, a Smartphone has some unique features which you will not find on a computer.


The smartphone is an easily movable gadget. Nowadays, everyone is using this highly featured gadget. It has a high-resolution display, WiFi connection, Bluetooth, Camera etc.

A Smartphone can do everything that you like to do on a computer. Basically, a Smartphone has two operating systems: Android Operating System and Windows Operating System.

Most of the people are showing interest in taking Android OS Smartphone because it is very easy in handling. If you are a smartphone user then you can access lots of applications from Google Play Store or Windows App Store. These apps help you to your work beautifully.



A Smartphone also has GPS system which can help you to find the exact location where you are and it can also navigate your way where you want to go. It has also a beautiful music system which can entertain you in your free time.

A Smartphone can easily access a website that would help you with your office work. Afterall, thanks to 3G and 4G internet network which can help you to watch an online video about the topic. Hence, we can say that if we have a Smartphone then we have a maximum possibility to finish our work safely and beautifully.

Nowadays there are different kinds of Smartphones available in a market.

A long time ago we used to operate a type of mobile phones which were not capable of doing everything like a computer but recently a smartphone can easily do that.

A Smartphone usually has the bigger screen so that you can easily read any document on your phone.
Just with some basic knowledge about mobile phone, you can easily handle a Smartphone, even a nursery kid also maintain a mobile phone easily.

Almost every Smartphone is waterproof, you can bring it into any weather whatever it is a rainy season.

A Smartphone has lots of applications, so it consumes power but the mobile companies managed to include an exact required battery capacity so that you can use it unobstructedly.


Now in modern technology also attached GPS system. It helps you to find your exact location and if you want to find another place where you did not go, it will also guide you to reach that place by giving you exact direction.

You can also share any file (e.g. picture or song or document) from your Smartphone using Bluetooth.

Nowadays web access is very important to a student or an office stuff. So here is the option for you, is a Smartphone. Yes, you can easily access the web from a smartphone just like a computer.

You can install different kinds of applications as per your requirement which can help you to do your work more easily.

A smartphone has different good qualities but it also has some bad sides. These are –

i) A Smartphone has a huge number of applications so the battery run out very quickly. So if you are going outside, you have to be careful about mobile phone battery life and have to carry power bank.

ii) It’s not so hardy that is why if it falls down then it might be broken.

iii) If you use it for a long time continuously then its high definition display may be harmful to your eyes.


However, besides pros and cons overall the smartphone is more beneficial to people. It is a very useful gadget which is just like a mini computer in your pocket.
