At first, you have to click on 'My Computer' icon.
Once it opens, click on Control Panel.
From the Category options, select Large icons. This display all items of Windows OS settings.
A list will appear. You have to find out 'Windows Update' option from there. Then, click on it.

Then a new page will appear in front of you. From the drop-down menu, you can see 'Install updates automatically' is already set as default. You have to change this to 'Never check for updates'.
