How To Verify Your Email On Discord

How To Verify Your Email On Discord:

Step 1: Open Discord and log in

To verify your account, you’ll need to log in to your Discord account by using your laptop. To log in to your Discord account, you need to have the application on your laptop.  If you don’t have the app, you’ll be able to download the application from www.discordapp.com and then enter your login details to get into your account.

Discord account verification is done by mail. You’ll get a verification mail from Discord. If you have a Discord account, you must have gotten a verification mail from Discord. You’ll need to complete the verification by confirming your mail ID. 

Therefore to begin with the process, you’ll need to enter your login details like the username and the password of your account correctly to get into your Discord account. 

Step 2: Tap on ‘Resend’

After you get into your profile, you’ll be able to see an orange line at the top of your screen. On it, you’ll be told that Discord has sent you a mail via your email address that you need to open for verification of your account.

But if you’ve not received the mail or have not been able to find the mail sent by Discord, there’s a Resend my verification email! button on the message. You’ll need to click on the Resend button to request Discord to resend you the mail for verification.

Remember that the mail would be sent to the particular email ID that you provided during the registration of your Discord account. If you don’t find the mail in the inbox, get into the Spam folder to search for it there as sometimes it gets misdirected too.  

Step 3: Check your Email inbox and Verify your Email

Next, as per your request, Discord will resend you the verification mail once again to your linked email address. You’ll need to open your Gmail account and then in the Inbox only, you’ll be able to see the mail from Discord.  In a few cases, it gets misdirected to the Spam folder.

You need to click and open the mail. Inside the mail, you’ll be able to see a blue ‘Verify Email’ button. You’ll need to click on the Verify Email button to confirm that the mail address that you’ve linked to your Discord account belongs to you.

It will open up a new page, where you’ll need to perform the human verification by clicking on the ‘I am not a robot’ box, and then you’ll be asked to choose some kinds of pictures. After the verification, you’ll get the message Email Verified.  Then you’ll need to click on ‘Continue to Discord’.

Step 1: Log in to Discord App or Register

If you want to verify your Discord account from the Discord application on your mobile device, it can be done very easily by following the steps mentioned over here. 

You’ll need to get the application installed on your device from the Google Play Store or App Store. Open the application and you’ll be asked to login into your Discord account. If you already have an account, enter its login details to get into your account. 

If you don’t have a Discord account, you’ll need to create one. Click on Register then enter your Email, username, password, and date of birth, and then click on Continue. You must remember the password of your account for future use. Now your account has been fully created and is ready to use.

Step 2: Tap on the profile icon from the bottom tab> Account

After you have successfully signed in or logged in to your account using the correct login credentials, you’ll be taken to the Home page of your Discord account.

You’ll need to click on the profile icon from the bottom tab to head on to the next step of this method. On the next page, you’ll be able to see many options placed one after another. 

For this method, you’ll need to click on the option Account. The Account tab is where you’ll be able to verify your Discord account. It’s the Settings of the Discord application. 

Your Discord account needs to be verified so that the community can be sure that your account is genuine and that you’re using it for a genuine purpose.

Step 3: Tap on “Verify”

After you click on Account, you’ll be taken to the profile page of your Discord account. On the page, you’ll be able to see your username, email ID, etc. At the top of the page, you’ll be able to see a red panel on which there’s a message for you that says Verify your email. Just next to the message, there’s the Verify option. You’ll need to click on Verify to proceed with the method. 

Remember that your verification will only be successful if you’ve put the correct mail address during the registration of your account and you need to have access to that mail ID so that mail sent by Discord can reach you.

Step 4: Tap on “Resend Email”

On the next page, you’ll be given two options: Resend Email and Change Email.  On the screen, you’ll also be able to see a message that asks you to check your mail and find the email sent by Discord earlier.

 Normally, during your account registration, Discord sends a mail to your linked email address. However,  if you registered your account long back, you may not find it.

But you’ve created your account recently, you can head on to your Gmail account and search for Discord to find out if you’ve missed any emails from Discord or not.

If you don’t get the mail or want it to be sent again, you’ll need to click on the Resend Email button to request Discord to resend you the verification mail. It would be easier for you as whenever it’s being sent again, you’ll get it on the top of your Gmail inbox.

Step 5: Check your Email inbox and Verify the Email

After you click on the Resend Email button, you’ll need to open the Gmail application and make sure you’re on the Gmail account that is linked to your Discord account.

Inside the Inbox of your account, you’ll be able to find mail sent by Discord for verification. The verification mail would be at the top of all other emails because it’s being re-sent to you. You’ll need to open the mail and read the messages that they’ve sent you. 

If you don’t find the mail in your Inbox, check the Spam folder. 

In the mail, you’ll be able to find a blue Verify Email box. You need to click on the verify box. This step is performed to ensure and confirm to the Discord community that the Discord account belongs to you and it’s linked to your email address correctly. 

Next, you’ll need to perform the Captcha verification correctly and it will be verified.
