Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Google.com & Click on Profile icon
Google keeps track of your older searches and locations of where you’ve been. If you want to find the past search history you can see it from the My Activity section of your Google account. Here you’ll be able to find the steps to view your Google search history using a PC.
From your PC, open Google Chrome or any other web browser. On the URL box of the browser, type www.google.com and press the Enter button from the keyboard to visit the website. From the search results, click on Google. Next, make sure you’re logged into your Google account.
Then, look at the top right corner of the screen. You’ll be able to see your Google account’s profile picture in a small circle. Click on it.
Step 2: Click on ‘Manage your Google Account’ > ‘Data & Privacy’
Once you click on the profile picture icon of your Google account, you’ll be presented with a box in which you need to click on Manage your Google Account. This option is located just below your Gmail address in the box.
It will take you to the following page. On the left sidebar of the page, you’ll be able to see a column of options. From the given list of options, click on the third option which is Data & privacy.
Step 3: Choose ‘Things you’ve done and places you’ve been’ Option
After clicking on the Data & privacy option, you’ll be taken to the Data & privacy page of Google. On the page, you’ll be able to see a header that says Your data & privacy options. Under the header, you’ll be able to see different options. From the options, click on Things you’ve done and places you’ve been which is the first option. It will take you to the following page.
Step 4: Click on “My Activity”
On the next page, you’ll be able to see the header that says History settings. Under it, you’ll get the My Activity option which allows you to check as well as delete your search history anytime. You’ll need to click on the My Activity option and it will take you to the My Google Activity page.
Step 5: View All Recent Searches
On the My Google Activity page, you’ll need to scroll down the page to see the recent searches. You’ll be able to see the headers like Today, Yesterday, and dates above the activities by which you’ll be able to know which day’s search history you’re seeing.
Even, on the page, you’ll be able to see a search bar on which you can search for your activities to check or delete them.
You can also use the Filter by date & product option to filter the records and view the history according to your need. It allows you to select the month, day, year, or apps whose history you want to view.
Next to the searches, you’ll be able to get a cross icon that you can click to delete any particular search.

Step 1: Open Chrome browser & Go to myactivity.google.com
You can also see your Google search history on mobile phones too. Here are the steps you need to perform to see the Google search history on Androids.
From the app menu, click and open Google Chrome. Next, you need to enter myactivity.google.com on the URL box and search. It will show you the results page. From the results, you’ll need to click on Welcome to My Activity. It will take you to the following page which is the My Google Activity page.
If you’re trying to find a web page that you’ve recently visited, you don’t need to search for it again, but you can get it easily from the search history of your Google account as Google keeps the track of your searches and visits to webpages.
Step 2: Scroll Down & Tap on Search your activity
After you’re taken to the My Google Activity page, you’ll need to scroll down the page and you’ll be able to see a search bar that says Search your activity. You’ll need to click on the search bar and type the activity you’re looking for in the box. Then search for the activity. You’ll be displayed with the results.
Step 3: Apply filters & View All browsing history
After the results are displayed, you need to click on the Filter by date & product button below the search bar to apply the necessary filter. Filtering allows you to select the time, date, month, and year whose search history you want to see.
To apply a filter, select the period, then click on the calendar icon next to After to select a specific date. Then click on the calendar icon next to Before and then select a specific date to filter the results.
Next, select the apps whose activities you want to view and then click on Apply. You’ll be able to view the results. If you want to delete a searched activity, you need to click on the cross icon next to the activity to delete it.
3. On iOS Device:
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Chrome & Tap on “Gear icon” OR Go to myactivity.google.com/myactivity
Google’s search history can be viewed or deleted anytime or from any device provided that you’re logged into your Google account from that device. The records of websites that you’ve previously visited are kept on Google’s History so that you can revisit them if necessary. No activity that you perform on Google stays unrecorded. Even the pictures you see, the videos you watch, and the blogs you read get recorded. You can delete them anytime you want from the search history too.
To check Google search history from iOS devices, you’ll need to open the Google Chrome browser and then click on the gear icon.
Then click on Manage activity. Remove all the filters applied and it will automatically take you to the History page of your Google account.
You can also take the easy way out and visit the website myactivity.google.com/myactivity on Chrome to check the searched history.
Step 2: Reset Filter and View All History
You’ll be directly taken to the My Google Activity page. You’ll need to scroll down the page and see the searched history of your Google account. By default, the page will display the full search history of your Google account. But if you need to see the searches of any specific day or date, you need to set that by filtering.
To filter the history, you need to click on the Filter by date & product option in blue and then select the After and Before dates from the calendar. Select a period by clicking on the All-time bar to see the search history of a specific day or month. Even if you want to see the search history or activities of any specific app or product, select the app from the list of Filter by Google products.
After you’re done filtering the activities, you need to click on Apply to see the results.
Step 3: Find All Searches by date
You’ll be able to find the searches by date. The newer ones will be displayed at the top of the list. As you move down the search history list, you’ll be able to see the older searches. You can click on the Delete button next to the Filter by date & product button to delete searches from specific periods. If you want to delete any particular search, just click on the x icon next to the activity and then click on the Delete button to confirm your action.
You can revisit any searched webpage by clicking on the activity from the list.
