There are possibly the three best ways to easily fix the camera access on Snapchat on your iOS device.

However, this notification – “___you’ll need to allow Camera access in Settings”, generally pops up on the Snapchat camera screen, when you have not given access to the Snapchat camera.

Hence, to fix this issue, you need to allow access to the Snapchat camera from your phone settings.

Here are the three quick methods to ‘allow access to Snapchat camera’:

1. Enable Camera Access

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Tap on ‘Settings’

First of all, go to your phone’s “Settings”. Tap and open it.

Now, you have to find the Snapchat app in your settings list. For that, you have two ways-Scroll the list till the end, and there you will get all your apps arranged alphabetically. Search ‘Snapchat’ and open it.

Or, on the top of the settings tab, there is a search bar, type >Snapchat, and open it.

Snapchat is also best for shooting videos and recording voices in different filters and sounds, hence along with the camera, it is important to allow access to the microphone and set the ‘photos’ settings to > ‘Read and write’.

For that, after enabling the camera, go to ‘Microphone’ and swipe right to green to allow permission and in the end, tap on ‘Photos’, and select > ‘Read and write’.

At last, reboot your device. This step is important for the proper implementation of settings.

Now, your Snapchat camera is all set to capture your pictures, shoot a video, and record your voice.

2. Disable Restrictions

It usually happens, that when a newly installed application asked for permission to access the camera, voice, etc, people generally hit > the ‘cancel’ button and do not ‘allow’ the permission. Which ultimately adds restrictions on the particular app.

To remove that, you have to disable the restrictions, by following the steps-

Step 1: Open Settings > Screen Time

Go to your phone’s menu and open “Settings”.

From the list, this time you have to select > “Screen Time”. You will get this option at the top of the settings section.

Click and open it.

However, in the section, you will get the option to remove the restriction from the app.

For that, you have to go to the “Content & Privacy Restrictions” option.

This option has a red color restriction symbol icon and is placed at the bottom of the screen time tab.
