Hence, to fix this issue, you need to allow access to the Snapchat camera from your phone settings.

Here are the three quick methods to ‘allow access to Snapchat camera’:

1. Enable Camera Access

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Tap on ‘Settings’

First of all, go to your phone’s “Settings”. Tap and open it.

Now, you have to find the Snapchat app in your settings list. For that, you have two ways-Scroll the list till the end, and there you will get all your apps arranged alphabetically. Search ‘Snapchat’ and open it.

Or, on the top of the settings tab, there is a search bar, type >Snapchat, and open it.

At last, reboot your device. This step is important for the proper implementation of settings.

Now, your Snapchat camera is all set to capture your pictures, shoot a video, and record your voice.

2. Disable Restrictions

It usually happens, that when a newly installed application asked for permission to access the camera, voice, etc, people generally hit > the ‘cancel’ button and do not ‘allow’ the permission. Which ultimately adds restrictions on the particular app.

To remove that, you have to disable the restrictions, by following the steps-

Step 1: Open Settings > Screen Time

Go to your phone’s menu and open “Settings”.

From the list, this time you have to select > “Screen Time”. You will get this option at the top of the settings section.

Click and open it.

Step 2: Go to Content & Privacy Restrictions

Well, the ‘Screen Time’ section basically gives you information about your daily average timing on your phone and a particular app.

However, in the section, you will get the option to remove the restriction from the app.

For that, you have to go to the “Content & Privacy Restrictions” option.

This option has a red color restriction symbol icon and is placed at the bottom of the screen time tab.
