You can change your voice on TikTok using the following steps:
Step 1: Open TikTok & Tap on ‘+’ icon
The first step that you have to follow to change your voice on TikTok is to open the Tiktok app from the home screen of your phone. Make sure you are logged in to your TikTok account and have a good internet connection.
At the bottom of your screen, you’ll notice a menu bar with five icons. The icon in the middle resembles a “+” sign; this icon is used when you want to create a video on TikTok. Tap on this. Your screen will change into a camera screen with options to record a video and maintain speed and time duration.
Step 2: Start Record and Tap the’ Checkmark’ icon
Now that you are in the create section of TikTok, you have to start recording. Long press on the red record option, and you can speak so that your voice is recorded in the video you are recording.
It doesn’t matter which time duration(60 or 15 seconds) or speed you have chosen. Once you are done, you have to stop recording and then tap on the “Checkmark” option. To identify this option, you have to look for a red circle with a white tick mark located on the lower right side of your screen.
Step 3: Tap on ‘Voice effects’ & Choose any effect
After you tap on the” Checkmark”, you will be taken to a screen where you will see the video you just recorded playing. You will see various icons at the top right corner of the screen. Tap on the “Voice effects” option.
A tab will appear at the bottom of the screen with a range of options so that you can alter your voice. From “Chipmunk” to “Electronic”, all options are available. Tap on the options one by one to check which you like best and then select the one you like.
Step 4: Tap on ‘Next’ and Review & Tap ‘Post’
Now that you’ve selected an option of your choice from the “Voice effects” section tap on the red “Next” option at the bottom right corner of the screen. You will be led to the Review tab of TikTok, where you can add a caption or related hashtags and manage the post’s settings.
After you have reviewed all the selected options and feel like you’re ready, go ahead and tap on the “Post” option at the bottom right corner of the screen. Your video of your voice in the background will have been posted.
How to Change TikTok Text to Speech Voice:

Step 1: Open TikTok & Record Video Tapping on ‘+’ icon
To change the TikTok text to speech voice, you have to open the TikTok app from your phone’s home screen and then tap on the option in the middle of the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, resembling a “+” sign.
This action will lead you to the video-making section of TikTok. You have to now long-press on the red “Record” option to record a video and remove your finger from the option when you think you are done.
After you like the video you have recorded, tap on the red “Checkmark” option at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Add a Text Box & Type Something
Tapping on the “Checkmark” option will lead you to the window where you can watch and edit the video that you have just recorded. On the top right corner of the screen, you will find various editing options like “Filters”, “Effects”, et cetera. Tap on the uppermost option of your screen that reads “Text”.
This will add a text box. You will notice that your keyboard instantly pops up now. Type the message you would like to be converted into speech into this text box. You can change the color and the font of the text as well.
Step 3: Select text & Hold and Tap ‘Text-to-speech’
Now that you have typed in your text tap on the “Done” option at the top right corner of the screen. You have to select the text you just typed by long pressing on it.
As a result of this action, you will see a floating notification appear with three options. You have to tap on the ” Text-to-speech ” option’s topmost option. This action will lead to a list of “Text-to-speech” options pop at the bottom of the screen that you can choose from.
Step 4: Choose an effect and tap on ‘Done’
Now that you have tapped on the “Text-to-speech” option tap on all the text-to-speech voice options available to see to play the video with the voice of that particular text-to-speech effect and learn which one best suits your taste. After you have found the text-to-speech effect that you like, select it. For example, you have chosen the voice option named “Alex”.
The option below will read “Apply Alex to the following text-to-speech. For personal use only.” Tap on this option to select the voice “Alex”. Then tap on “Done” at the top right corner of the screen. Then tap on “Next” and “Post” to post the video.
