Can You Download Audio from Messenger?

You can download the audio from Facebook Messenger on the web, not from the messenger app. On the Facebook messenger app, there is no chance to download an audio file.

Downloading is only possible when you open Facebook Messenger on the web, that is, on Google Chrome or Safari. On the web, there is a direct option given to download the received audio file and hear it later on your device.

To download the audio from the Facebook messenger web, there is a specific web link,  m.facebook.com. Do not get confused with www.facebook.com (Facebook), because, this won’t let you download the audio file, because it is similar to the Facebook app version.

Hence, carefully focus and open this link – m.facebook.com on your mobile device or PC.  Then, go to the audio you want to download; click on the download options, and save it to your device.
