Step 1: Open Snapchat and click on Location
Start with opening the Snapchat app on your mobile device. After opening the app, if you haven’t logged in to your Snapchat account, then, first, enter your username and password to log in to your account.
On logging in, the first thing that will come up on the screen will be ‘camera’. This camera screen is the ‘home’ screen of your account.
Over there, on the camera screen, look at the bottom, and you will see some options in a row, such as chat icon, friends’ icon, spotlight icon, etc, including, the “Location” icon, on the extreme left corner of the home screen.
Now, to go to the ‘Snap Map’ tab, click on the “Location” icon and you will reach there.
Step 2: Find your area on Map and click on it
The “Location” icon will bring you to the “Snap Map” tab. Now, what you have to do is, on the map find yourself. Zoom the map and you will see your “Bitmoji”, that is, the profile picture indicated as “Me”.
Slide your finger left-right on the screen, zoom in for a clear view, and find yourself on the map. Around your bitmoji (Profile picture), you will see the bitmoji of your friends as well.
On zooming the map, a bit more, you will see blue circle lights around you, on the snap map.
Step 3: Tap on the blue-circle light
Next, tap on the blue circle light nearby you, and the story will show up. Simply, tap on the blue light, and automatically the stories will show up, one after the other. This is the story of the people who are present nearby you.
Step 4: Those are People nearest to your location
The people whose stories you will see on Map at a particular location are the ones who have visited that location in the last 24 hours. Thus, those are the people nearest to that location or nearest to your location.
The interesting fact is, that you can know the name of the person in the story, which means you can find which friend of yours is nearest to your location or that location. You will get the name on the story, in the top left corner, below the location of the area.
