How To View Deleted Twitter Accounts:

If you want to see the deleted tweets or the accounts, you should do that using any cache server like Google or Wayback Machine that keeps the cache of the link, where Google keeps it for a limited time or sometimes for a few weeks.

There are different ways to view the deleted accounts that are deleted from Twitter.

1. Using Google Cache

You must be aware that whenever you post something on Twitter, be it a tweet or just a photo or a video, it has its URL generated automatically by the system of the app. Not just through the app, if you do the same function through your browser, your post will have a unique URL generated by the system.

This made it possible for users to restore and see their deleted tweets from Twitter. Here are a few steps that will make your work easier, let’s check this with Google Cache.

To see the deleted tweets from your device,

🔴 Steps To Follow:

Step 1: Open Google on your device. Once you open the Google page, search for your Twitter page link from the search bar of Google.

Step 2: The next thing that you have to do is when the search results show, tap on the down arrow symbol seen next to your Twitter account URL as ‘Cached’.

Step 3: Next tap on the ‘Cached‘ option. The moment you do this, you can view your previous cached version of that tweet through the Google Web cache link.

One important thing you should note is that the method can only work if Google has not cleared/removed the cached data. If Google has cleared your cached data, it will be nearly impossible for you to see your deleted tweets or posts using the Google cache.

Now you know that the URL provided by Twitter is an important mode through which you can see your deleted tweets even if it is deleted.

2. Use Wayback Machine

A Wayback Machine is a tool that allows the internet to archive data through the World Wide Web. It provides universal access to all forms of pages on the web.

And apart from this, you can get your older data that you have tweeted long back from your Twitter account.

The sole purpose of Wayback Machine is to collect as much data as possible from the web that might have been lost or deleted when there is a change in the website or when it closes down.

Wayback Machine has made it possible for users to download and access worldwide web pages as well as other resources like Twitter to retrieve back deleted tweets, and posts and view them. If you don’t have access to the archive of the Twitter account from which the deleted tweet was sent, Wayback Machine will be at the rescue for you.

Though it doesn’t archive all the tweets or Twitter pages, it does have screenshots of a few or more pages. Here are the steps through which you can get your old deleted tweets to look back using the Wayback Machine.

To see the deleted Twitter data,

🔴 Steps To Follow:

Step 1: First of all, go to the Online Wayback Machine.

Step 2: Once you are in then on the URL bar type the complete URL of the tweet that you want to retrieve and press the ‘Browse History‘ button.

Step 3: Now, choose the date from when you want to see the data for that URL and you will be able to see the entire screenshot taken by Wayback Machine of that Twitter page which is organized like a calendar.

You will be shown the screenshot of the tweet which is exactly like the tweet as it was tweeted earlier.

Note: If the Wayback Machine has the data in its cache then only you can choose a date otherwise it cannot show you the data. In that case, you can search the profile page URL on the Wayback machine and choose a date to see if any tweets there on the profile page.

3. Screenshots of Deleted Tweets

The other way to see the deleted tweets is through screenshots or images.

Some people actively take screenshots of tweets and save them for later, if you are among them, well then this habit can save you.

You can easily see the deleted tweets if luckily your friend has taken a screenshot of that tweet. Having screenshots is merely based on the factors as it does not feel necessary to take a screenshot of the tweet.

Some users have a habit of taking screenshots of the tweets of celebrities and personalities, politicians and actors, and sometimes even the ones that could have been controversial and inspiring. The users upload these screenshots to various places that show up in Google image search results.

You can visit Google and look for these tweets in the form of images from a Google image search.

If it was based on a trending topic, it is possible that somebody just took a screenshot of it.

The same screenshot of that deleted tweet can be found in the comments or on others’ tweets.

Can you Restore the Deleted Tweets?

You can view all the Twitter data by downloading the full data from your account. But, if you have deleted any tweets, you cannot see the tweets or undo that tweet to restore rather you can repost them as a new tweet.
